Why does my sea salt soap “sweat”?
Sea salt is a natural humectant, meaning it attracts moisture from the air. In humid conditions, this can cause small water droplets to appear on the surface of your soap. This is perfectly normal and does not affect the soap’s quality or performance. To minimize this, store your bar in a cool, dry place.
Salt bars are naturally firm due to their high salt content and may not produce as much lather as traditional unsalted soaps. For optimal use, we recommend lathering with a bath cloth or an exfoliating body scrubber.
